It is looking like a Dominionist theology issue. This is what has apparently managed to transcend ideas about who Christ (or for that matter the devil) is, to get Cruz hand in hand with the devoutly Mormon Glen Beck.
My reaction: Ted please don’t do this to Christianity. I’d rather a secularist in all but name, than this.
Cruz is trying to do with a voting segment what BO did with the Black vote. There is a lack of respect in this. There is also a value judgment made of these voters on various levels. Although an evangelical, myself a cold chill went through me when C. began to do this.
