“You gain respect and acceptance here over time”
I have one uncle who was a tank driver in the Korean War, another who landed at Anzio, another on a destroyer in the Atlantic and my father was on the USS Bream 1944-1945 in the Pacific theater. Just because you have the word VET in your handle, you pull no rank on me.
And I don’t want nor need your respect and acceptance. I’m pretty sure me and my family have already earned it from better people than you.
I have all kinds of relatives who served in uniform. My late father was a Marine in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. What is your point?
