April 6, 2016 Ivanka Trump Scarves Recalled Because Of "Burn Risk"
Scarves made in China and sold as part of Ivanka Trump's fashion line are being recalled because they are too flammable and pose a "burn risk" to consumers.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday that no injuries have been reported.
The recall involves about 20,000 rayon scarves, sold from October 2014 through January 2016 in department stores and online. They range in cost from $12 to $68.
A representative for the Ivanka Trump brand, which includes clothing, accessories and fragrances, said that it is disappointed for the need for a recall but relieved action is being taken.
"We're seeing to it that this issue is fixed immediately," a spokeswoman for the Ivanka Trump collection said by email.
The CPSC said consumers should stop wearing the scarves and return them for a full refund.
Ivanka Trump's father, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, has criticized companies that move manufacturing outside the U.S. and has threatened to impose steep tariffs on Chinese imports if elected. He has acknowledged, however, that some of his own products were made outside the U.S.
Trump just lost the Wisconsin primary by double digits Tuesday night, a new poll shows him with an almost 30-point lead in the next state on the map: his home state of New York.

I just heard that all of Donald Trump’s kids are democrats, including Ivanka. Can this really be true?
Off hand I would say no it is not true. Both his sons big hunters, members of NRA, supporters of 2nd, all three successful, hard working. Doesn’t sound like Democrat.
Is everything we wear made to be inflammable? Does this mean all this time I could have been holding matches to my clothes? I have missed out ;-)

Last time we went shopping for women’s clothes seems like everything we saw was made of rayon. Seems a bit of a stretch to single out just her scarves. Surely not targeted enforcement.
Unlikely. Because Ivanka has her own business endeavors, she has chosen to be more PC like most businesses. Her husband Jared Kushner is definitely an active Republican, and is actively helping The Donald.

One of my fave pairs of shoes are my Ivanka black flats. So cute/stylish....they go with everything and I get so many compliments on them.
Her entire line is really stylish.
