Women who give themselves abortions (deliberately through drugs, trauma or other means) are currently charged. There are many examples of this.

I read that a woman was recently convicted on a self-induced abortion in Ireland with drugs she got on the Internet (she got 2 months, suspended, and 2 years probation -- her shocked roommates, who were pro-life girls, blew the whistle on her) but I hadn't heard of prosecutions in the USA.

I simply don't know.
