So don’t use paypal, but also don’t use ebay because they are one and the same.
I plan on scorning PayPal by Friday.
When I purchase something online, I NEVER opt to pay through that outfit. I consider them scum. I pay directly through my own plastic.
I may move funds THROUGH Paypal but I'd NEVER, EVER store money in Paypal for more than a day.
Even above and beyond todays political problem, they're not to be trusted in any way, shape and form.
Paypal is a publicly held corporation. I do not quite understand how a CEO has decided to express his political views over his fiduciary duty to the public shareholders to maximize shareholder value. What is to keep a public corporation CEO or Board refusing to relocate operations to Oregon because of the assisted suicide law or Colorado because of the legalization of marijuana? Very slippery slope here The Board needs to fire him for violating his fiduciary duty and if they do not act why would a shareholder who does not agree with his political views not sue him and the board for violating their fiduciary duty in favor of advancing their personal political agenda?
cancelled my account.
I have never used PayPal and I’ve never used e-Bay. I wouldn’t even know how to go about it, so absent is my interest in either.
Progressives say they want democracies....rule by majority...rule by majority always ends up hurting minorities.....progressives say they like minorities....
With logic like that.... progressives are technically insane.
I think it makes sense. There are more potential customers who share Paypal’s value system than there are of the socially conservative kind, whose numbers are dwindling. On the other hand, Paypal’s international market is expanding... It is a move with little downside to Paypal.
I closed my account today.
