Bannon that when it comes to the coming GOP convention, “If they’re maneuvering now to undermine their own rules to move a third candidate into this, I think it could split this party and it could split this party so deeply that it could be the end of the Republican Party.”
King was responding to a question about a contested convention, adding, “It’s hard to say definitively that if we go to convention and it’s not Trump or Cruz that everything blows up but I can see where that can be the case and maybe even where it should be the case.”
King said the establishment doesn’t write the rules out of altruism but from self -interest and if the rules don’t give them what they want, they can and will re-write them.

You are right. King has changed so much I do not recognize him any longer. He was a fantastic congressman,now he acts smarmy,and is not to be trusted.
King cited a news report and he said that it looked like Carson was dropping out.
Globalism isn’t a bad idea. I just want us to be doing the globalizing. That means strong economy, strong middle class, strong military. Everything Obama has set out to belittle.
Obama is of the mind that if we surrender and weaken ourselves than others will follow. I guess Merkal bought on to it.

I don’t want the US to be globalizing. Every nation should have national sovereignty, taking into account that Islam has to be crushed. A strong economy, middle class and military has nothing to do with being globalized.

Trump or Cruz will be the nominee. The party definitely doesn’t want Trump but if he gets 1237 then it is his. The GOPe would take a generation to repair. That is too late.

I don’t see why it’s inevitable. Everything changes. The US needs to stop meddling with other countries and overthrowing their governments and so on and so forth. We have plenty of resources in our own country, for one thing.
