Ditto if you compromise your principles to win.
And you're making even less sense in this thread than you did in that other one. I'm talking about getting rank and file voters to vote for whomever is the nominee.
And you're talking about...I really have no idea.
I’m all for that. She’d help him a lot, mitigate somewhat the “first female President” issue, etc.. I’d like to see that.
The non voters will follow the path laid out by the old media empire. Incredibly, so many people don’t see how they our being manipulated by the old media empire, even with the Internet, and far too many weak minded nitwits just will never get it.
Actually I had quite a good time in junior high...sorry you are incapable of extracting the broader point, intellectual lightweight. Trump may turn off up to 1/3 of GOP voters, but he draws from outside GOP voter rolls. Given the opposition’s numerical advantage, this is essential to win.
Cruz, OTOH, has no draw outside registered Republicans. In fact, not a few of us who are conservative but not Republicans think he is a freak. His engagement of Glenn Beck underscores the point for me. Beck is an effing loon. It is extremely difficult for me to think of anything, aside from abortion, I respect Beck’s opinion on. But Teddy trots him out for the laying on of hands...no thanks.
Trump has underplayed his hand with regard to his wife. Cruz’s wife is simply the ‘naughts version of Hillary. Co-presidencies used to rest on female lawyers who did pro bono for the Children’s Defense Fund; today they are Goldman Sachs managing partners who sit on CFR committees. Trump’s wife grew up in a shit country (visited by yours truly while in service in’92) and has played the hand she’s been dealt quite well. No roadside breakdowns, if you know what I mean. Tough. Like her old(er) man. Frankly, American women could use a dose of an mentally tough woman who retains a sense of femininity. Been awhile.
Let's see how the people feel after the general election candidates are engaged and campaigning.
Let's see if the people still feel this way once the candidates start talking about how they will spend our money, and for who's benefit.

BINGO!
People not voting at all are giving it to hillary and I ‘almost’ never call anyone names but in this case......You non-voters are *u*%@&*^*n, l%@%*^e, and a bunch of *^#@y - #@& -*# -(^%$#*s!
There, I said it!
I think so too.
I support Cruz but it would just be anti-American not to vote for Trump in the general if he wins the primary and vice versa for Trump supporters to not vote for Cruz if he wins.
That’s just my opinion and I understand if angry people disagree, but that’s what I think and yelling or cursing at me won’t change my mind.
==
No yelling needed, just sad folks like you are voting for the guy that is GoPe, represents no change in direction, and can’t win the general, cause he can’t win FL and Oh. If Cruz had beaten TRump by a million votes in FL and OH, then Cruz would be the guy, but he didn’t. Cruz nor anyone else GoPe selects can win those states wihtout those million Trump supporters.
Right now I see no way for us to win. Cruz is about Cruz, GoPe about status quo, both working to undermine the biggest most emotionally charged movement we’ve had in years.
Take the word from a once ardent Cruz supporter, he is costing us this election and so are you.
“sorry you are incapable of extracting the broader point, intellectual lightweight”
Wow!
I had no idea “pulling the pud” had such broad and expansive, intricate and nuanced meanings.
You are probably a genius.
You say: “But Teddy trots him out for the laying on of hands...no thanks.”
Here is Donald Trump getting people laying hands on him praying for him. From Jews to women to Black church leaders. Which ones do you dislike?

Same as Iowa.
Our media is a disgrace.
Except obamacare which doesn’t affect most of us, Obama got through hardly anything. He is a failure. Cruz would be worse. Hillary would not get much through. I’ll only vote trump this election. Without trump, the United States will continue stagnant as it has the last 8 years. When asked if you are better off 8 years ago.....financially yes but not because of the president.
The numbers got slightly worse for the Republican Party when voters were asked to consider Trump as the GOP nominee. Just 61 percent said theyd vote for the brash businessman,
Cruz would get 65%. Trump would get 61%.
.
Oxymoronic assumption if ever there was one.
.
>> “Except obamacare which doesnt affect most of us” <<
.
Explains your wacky socialist POV.
You plainly are not in business, nor employed as most Americans are, by small businesses.
.
Its all OK if it is Trump.
They know that its not real ‘religion’ if it is Trump, so Satan is not being insulted (PBUTH).

>> “Our media is a disgrace.” <<
.
Yep, they conspired to dump Trump on our election to stop Cruz.
The convention will not be “brokered.”
Cruz will win on the second ballot.
Of course the Country-clubbers will try hard in the time between the ballots to scare delegates away from Cruz, but I have confidence that the delegates will want to win in November, so Cruz will be victorious.
