I think it was Trump’s plan to win on the first ballot, now it seems like this is going into a contested convention, which is going to suck for whomever “wins”
Very true, but this is quickly becoming a Two dimensional race. One that Trump is very slow to run, and unwilling it seems to pay for. One dimension is to try and win enough delegates on the first ballot so that there is no subsequent ballots. The other is securing delegates so that if it goes to the second or third ballot he gets enough votes to win.
