Using any of the books under “Suggested Supplemental Resources” for Week 13 (or any of the other approved resources mentioned above), discuss Ronald Reagan’s legacy in relation to American conservatism. Republicans today deify Reagan, yet they often take much more extreme views on social and political issues than Reagan ever did (taxes are a major difference, for example). Choose a few issues and discuss the differences between contemporary Republican’s views and Reagan’s.
