Cruz cozies up to D.C. establishment
Politico ^ | 4/6/2016 | Katie Gluiek

He's disparaged his own Republican leader as a liar and dismissed fellow senators as part of the "Washington cartel." But now, with his presidential prospects hanging in the balance, Ted Cruz is moving closer than ever to the D.C. establishment. Directly and through surrogates, the Texas senator is aggressively reaching out to his Senate colleagues as he prepares for the possibility of a convention floor fight against Donald Trump. And Cruz’s emissaries on Capitol Hill are now signaling to senior Republicans that Cruz would be willing to work with them as the GOP nominee in a way Trump would not.

It's true though and everyone seen it long before they put a new label of Ted's candidacy.

Seen it all before over here in the UK. They did it to Nigel Farage of UKIP in the UK General election and Marine Le Pen's Front national in the French election. The "outsider" can't be allowed to win under any circumstances. In France the socialists pulled their candidates out of various regions and told their supporters to vote conservative. In the UK all parties were told to vote for anyone who had the best chance of defeating UKIP in any particular seat. A large number of lib/dems and Labour voted conservative in the constituency Nigel stood as MP to stop him being elected to the British Parliament. It was the anyone but Nigel election.

Nigel remains a Euro MP as it is a system of proportional representation.

RE:”But fun time is over.”

I am still getting the most ridiculous comments.

They will be livid till Trump wins another one, maybe longer.

Chortle!
You crazy Trumpbots just crack me up. Ted Cruz has done more to fiht the establishment and bring them dead to rights than Donald tRump would do if he lived to be a million years. Meanwhile, Donald tRump has done more to aid and abet the establishment (both GOPe and Democratic Partye than any human alive.

LOL. Cruz has been campaigning for POTUS since he got to the beltway. He’s a bought and paid for career politician. Nothing more or less. You’re being duped by a Harvard boy. Goldman Sachs has made his family rich. He cares nothing about the porch conservatives on the GOPe plantation.

No one as been bought and paid for more than Donald tRump, including being bought and paid for by the mafia crime families of New York.
Talking of Goldman Sachs, Donald tRump and his companies owe vastly more money to Wall Street including Goldman Sachs than Ted Cruz would if he lived to be a million. Try and get a clue dude.

Trumpman has been spending a lot of time on bended knee with establishment types and political hacks.

I believe Newt did some hand holding for him in D.C.

Interesting shift to the Rino wing by Hair Trump.

Jedi
