You do understand the difference between winning on the first ballot and winning on subsequent ballots, do you not? So long as Trump goes in with less than 50% of delegates on the first ballot, Cruz is the likely nominee.
He will win in the second vote. Now trump had no viable way to 1237 and won’t wins contested convention so he should drop out now.
