Trump fans keep using the phrase “The will of the people” - I do not think that means what you think it means.
I would love to see a one on one runoff but that won’t happen. If no one gets to 1237 the actual will of the people can’t be calculated. The majority voted for someone else.
The closest we will get to a runoff is second, and possibly more ballot at the convention. This isn’t anything new.
Please understand, your arguments mirror those of Gore’s fan club in 2000. They were wrong and you are too.

Cruz would get slaughtered in the general election. He’s not very likeable. The media isn’t after him yet because they want to eliminate Trump. If Cruz somehow got the nomination, the media would bury him.
Gore lost the popular vote in FL and wanted to get recounts in order to overturn the will of the People.
