Mr. Fusion.
Big talk. How many businesses have YOU started? How many people are you employing ?
That’s some serious overbite there. Maybe it should grow a moustache? :)
I already made money shorting Tesla, and will do it again. It is a welfare company, and any stock that fluctuates over a 52 week period this much remains on my “suspect” list : )
never mind how his business is financed. The car is technically and visually very impressive
...
Yes. And regards to financing, Tesla is financed by investors, most notably Musk himself.
I’d love to see the stock go way down, but that’s just selfishness on my part.
I think it will happen, as I believe the company is a house of welfare mirrors. Most people don’t want or can afford one.
Elon Musk’s growing empire is fueled by $4.9 billion in government subsidies

Tesla’s Government Handouts Are the Gift That Keeps On Giving
All cars come with a Honda electric generator. You supply the gasoline.
Tesla got $295M in subsidies for technology it didnt offer

Elon Musks $5 Billion in Govt Subsidies Helps Make Ends Meet
Everybody knows that!
From the wall spark thing!!
I don’t doubt that you’re right. Its guaranteed that since the stock price is not based on fundamentals-it will fluctuate sufficiently to make a living for a good trader.
The big laugh at the conference was the promised delivery date. that is the end of 2017.
Is there any relationship between delivery back ups and shorting opportunities?
LOL!
Probably is, but the easiet way is to watch for an inordinate run up in stock price for no apparent reason. Like when it went up to 285: )
Exactly right! The excess capacity from base-load generators can handle the night-time charging of several million E.V.s. After that, who knows — but, it’s absolutely not an issue in the near term. In fact, this extra off-peak demand will likely be a huge windfall for generating companies (the cost of base-load electricity is a fraction of peak-load generation costs). While it’s too much to hope that’ll result in cost-savings for consumers; it might, at least, slow down electricity-rate increases.
Saw a Tesla on the way home today (JAX, FL) It looked interesting from the rear, then saw the tesla name. saw briefly from the side. It was not bad. But most cars today are very ugly IMHO so it isn’t hard to look better than average.
So does Col Sanders!
The Tessella is just another cube . Those who support it are squares or stockholders (same thing, really). Huey Lewis once said it was hip to be you guys.
its funny how people say its not hard, yet so many car companies keep making very ugly cars. I don’t understand why people are buying them
