So sorry to hear ya’ll are at the ER for hubby’s pain. I hope it all turns out okay and you and he can get to go back home soon. That kind of pain is no picnic, for sure.
Years ago, my husband was having so much pain with repeated diverticulitis attacks, after they put him on an anti-biotic for 30 days, they said the next attack he would have to stay in the hospital for an IV drip for a whole week.
Then our friends told us about 4 other people, family, friends, and a co-worker of theirs, who started drinking 100% pure aloe juice, and never had another attack.
We started him on about 4 oz in the am and 4 oz in the pm, and have since reduced it to about 1 oz in the am only. He never had another attack again. Walmart has it in their Pharmacy section (it’s not a sugar drink, it’s pure aloe). He was so happy!
This may not be what your hubby has, but I just thought I’d share an FYI in case it might help someone else.

My dad had diverticulitis and I have ulcerative colitis. I know what it’s like, but it is all going to be okay...though it may not seem so right now, things WILL get better. Prayers up.
Oh my gosh. Have heard lots of horror about this. Sorry it hit you guys. We have another 45 minutes before the contrast is ready for cat scan.
