I have read Ted Cruz's testimony in front of the Supreme Court, his voting records from January 2013 to May 2015 (not after May though, and no doubt you would consider that sloppy), and a whole lot of other Cruz material. I would recommend that anyone with the time do the same. I recommended the ratings sites because they are a quick check, not because they are the best. Having read so much of Cruz, and heard him in person several times, I hold him in high regard.
If someone with an agenda cherry picks the worst few minutes of Cruz's public life, I have no doubt that such a person could make him look like a globalist or anything else that person wants (would you want the person you married, or anyone else, looking at a video of your worst five or ten minutes, in snippets of a few seconds each, out of context?). However, if you look at everything he has done, in context, he is a great conservative.
Note: I have worked for several prominent politicians, but never for Cruz; I do not have a financial tie to him and never did. However, I have been in rooms with him many times when I was working for someone else, and the image being spread of him has no relation to the Cruz I saw. Even Senators who don't like him, and there are a lot of those, have described him as a conservative, "too conservative", or in the words of someone I worked for, who didn't like his style, "a Scalia clone".
So you consider his vote for the Corker Bill, for example, to be the act of a Conservative? Sorry, your reasoning is pathetic. in addition he is not eligible!
