Would you believe here in KC we have all the Windows open? Light breeze and sunny. Must be low 70s.
We have certainly gone from nice weather to cold weather in just a few days.
On March 15,1941 the people in Grand Forks had great weather, temperatures in the forties-time for a nice drive or walk in spring clothes. But there was a sudden shift in the wind; temperatures dropped 20 degrees in 15 minutes. A blizzard hit, drifts of snow up to 7 seven, winds up to 80 miles an hour. Wind chills to 20 below. My mom was there at the time.
