Fair game IF citizens can vote. That was not my issue it was the joy that a small group of political persons do the selecting versus electing. I take no joy when ALL citizens don’t have the courtesy of being able to vote. Who they vote for is between themselves and God.

My son’s life will never be as it might have been for what— we thought for our nation and freedom. Seems we might have been wrong.

At least in my state, I can attend my precinct convention and am almost automatically a delegate to my county convention. From there, it is not that difficult to attend the state convention (almost automatic as an alternate). If I convinced several others to do the same who would support me or could convince the majority to vote for me in my congressional district caucus, then I could be a national delegate. Yes, that's easier said than done, but if there was someone that has been active in the party and supported your candidate, they would have a better chance.

It is pretty much a matter of getting people to show up.
