I won’t pun about this, and you can’t mecca me.

"To Bee or Not to Bee?"

Didn't think I'd ever see the day when this poem might bee appropriate ...

Grounded!

Bernice was just a worker bee,
But she did love her work.
She loved to smell the flowers,
And never did she shirk.

She found a good patch one fine day,
Began to gather nectar,
She filled up all her pockets,
And noted well the vector.

She'd need to pass the word along,
She'd do the "waggle-dance",
But she was really weighted down.
She might not get the chance!

With all the weight she carried,
She glided to the ground.
She couldn’t fly another inch,
She'd have to walk around.

She trudged all through the morning,
Quite sure that she would swoon.
She trekked onward valiantly,
Til it was half past Noon.

With her forepaws held around her mouth,
As if they were a cup,
She shouted "Help!" to those above,
"I've pollen, and I can't get up!"
