It is sad that politicians have been able to set up such a situation. In my ideal world, politicians would never play favorites, and would set rules fairly for everyone. Unfortunately, this world is not ideal, and Trump has had to make his fortune in the real world, not a fair world.
You can call it "grease" or "protection money"--I guess the distinction is whether the money goes to government or the mafia--it's all the same thing.

If you want to see what kind of a candidate Trump is, look at who Ann Coulter is supporting. Her list of past endorsements/political jiltings include Mitch McConnell(!) and Nit Romney. The former is the third most politically and constitutionally destructive person in the US, after Obama and Reid. We are probably going to have to vote for your nitwit, and that will be two morons we will have to clean up after for the next 4 generations!

I can see no scenario by which Cruz is nominated: I can see Trump stalled at 1,000 delegates and hence eliminated. That leaves us with a likely Ryan-Jebbie ticket that will lose WI and maybe FL as well.

You are so correct ,,, fact is we live in a very artificial world where most limited uninformed people can simply be duped by a simple negative sound bite . Truth is the current GOP establishment hates Cruz and their endorsement was meant to be a death wish . All national polls have Trump losing to Hillary while Cruz is polled to beat her and perhaps that’s why the media loves Trump so much .
