Also use your package machine to make up meals to zap in the microwave.
I have a friend who cooks one or two times a month and then lives out of her freezer.
My one grandmother would spend time cooking Saturday or Sunday and make her own frozen TV dinners for the week.
I don’t have one of those Food Saver vac-u-seal things but need to get one as just plastic or foil doesn’t work very well to keep the freezer bite off for long.
I’m looking for a job now, and, since I’m home I’ve been cooking a lot more (I’ve always enjoyed cooking). When I was working, I often put in long hours, so would just eat my main meal in the cafeteria at work. It started getting rather pricey as they tried to get a bit fa-fa, plus it started being just ok taste-wise. I think it would behoove me to get a Food Saver and cook and take my lunch to work - YUGE cost savings and better food.
