Thanks for posting the link - missed the speech yesterday and just watched it. I think I saw Byron York in the audience.
I think it was a good speech. All of us follow politics and Ted and The Donald. When she referred to the gift baskets and TPP and TPA as well as the immigration and visas, we all knew exactly who she was referring to; however, I’m wondering if those in the audience who don’t follow as closely as we do, knew she meant Ted. She didn’t refer to him by name, but did say the only candidate and since there are only 3 left, and only 1 of those is in congress, they may have gotten it. I think she was trying to make her point without using Ted’s name, giving the audience and venue, and pointing out Trump’s strengths on the issues. I’m not trying to be hard on our Sarah, it’s just that I think one needs to be very specific with some people (and practically draw them a picture). Please let me know if you think otherwise - maybe I’m missing something (you know that at least some of us Trump supporters are dumb and low info).
I thought that this speech showed Sarah’ s great understanding of the issues. It felt inspired. I thought the audience was attentive and they gave her a standing ovation at the end. Different speech from her usual fiery rally the troops. Go Sarah! Go Trump!
