yes, foodsaver is nice, their bags are pricey. We’ve found that if we wrap the food in regular plastic wrap, and then wrap the same package again in another layer of plastic wrap, then put it into a ziplock bag with the others, it really stays without freezer burn for a much longer time.
Thanks for the advice. I remember that my mom and step-dad had a Food Saver not long after they came out and it worked really well. But, even though they bought the bags at Costco, they were fairly pricey - they used to wash them after the first use.
