Insiders: Ted Cruz will capture Wisconsin - Democrats expect a Bernie Sanders victory.
The Politico ^ | April 1, 2016 | Steven Shepard

Ted Cruz will deal Donald Trump an emphatic defeat in Wisconsin next week.

That’s according to The POLITICO Caucus – a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 10 key battleground states. Nearly nine-in-10 Republicans in those states chose Cruz as the likely winner of next Tuesday’s Wisconsin presidential primary.

Among Democrats, Caucus members by a nearly two-to-one margin predicted Bernie Sanders would defeat Hillary Clinton.

In the Republican race, insiders said Cruz has surged ahead of Trump in Wisconsin thanks to GOP Gov. Scott Walker’s endorsement and an electorate that isn’t as favorable to Trump as those in other states.

“Governor Walker's endorsement will help Cruz,” said one Wisconsin Republican, who, like all respondents, completed the survey this week anonymously. “And Trump's bit just does not play with the southeast Wisconsin GOP base.”

“The drumbeat of doubts about Trump is finally catching up to him, and Ted Cruz will be the beneficiary,” added an Iowa Republican. “Plus, Cruz is working the grassroots hard, knowing those campaign volunteers will turn into Cleveland delegates.”[continued]

He’s a lot thinner than the Donald’s buddy Krispy Kreme Christie who looks like he ate the whole buffet.

Perhaps the Cruz voters took Romney’s request to heart, that they vote for Cruz or Kasich, whomever is strongest, so that there can be an open convention.

Evidently, a lot of Republicans really do want amnesty, massive illegal and legal immigration, the loss of our infrastructure, jobs, etc., and the continued erosion of our constitution. They want a Bush or Romney presidency, and a very very liberal and politically correct congress. Above all, they do not want a wall.

Because if they did, they would not be voting for Cruz or Kasich. If enough people do vote for Cruz or Kasich, the establishment will see it as permission to do whatever is necessary to get a brokered convention.

It’s too bad, I think Trump, warts and all, is our very last chance to fix things. But if enough people would rather stick with the status quo, that is what will happen.

I’m glad I’m old and I am not going to be around much longer to watch the death of the most wonderful country that ever was in all the history of the earth!

You Cruz supporters had better think long and hard about the statements comming out of the RNC. They are openly saying now that neither Cruz or TRUMP will get the nomination. So what do you intend to do then?

Vote - Vote 3rd party - yes, I know I am throwing my vote away

Cruz has not won any open primary outside of Texas. And Cruz has only won 1 primary outside of Texas open or closed that being Oklahoma. One for 16.

Funny huh? The elder folks see the writing on the wall since they were alive when this country was actually Americans for Americans.

I remember when people minded their own business. Could do whatever ya wanted on your property, and all that.

A majority of the younger people havent had that experience...like back in the late 50s and early 60s. Then came LBJ.

Don’t feel bad, I didn’t know what that phrase meant either, and still don’t. But anyways I’m actually surprised how clean the comments are here when compared to comments from other similar sites.

He didn’t mean healthcare and education from the federal government. He supports education at the local level and hates Common Core. HE has also said time after time he wil repeal obamacare and his policy is up at his website. I think he misspoke and idn’t clarify what he meant. He never said increasing taxes - he said national security. You people are dumber than a box of rocks.

It is becoming obvious, to some who are not emotionally drowning in the Trump-Cruz exchanges, that something is afoot not actually related to the Cruz allegations. Of the allegations were true, the NE has stretched the punch-line out now so far that it is serving the democrats’ divide and conquer strategy for Hillary. If the allegations are false, the libelous furor was designed to accomplish the divide and conquer strategy. Either way, this looks too much like media serving the DNC masters’ orders. And BTW, the CIA owns the National Enquirer, so it serves the orders from Brennan not The Donald.

The CIA, as everyone in the intelligence field knows, is the furthest left of all the agencies. Ask anyone who has ever worked in the field. So was Oh, So Social before it.
