Ted Cruz will deal Donald Trump an emphatic defeat in Wisconsin next week.
Thats according to The POLITICO Caucus a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 10 key battleground states. Nearly nine-in-10 Republicans in those states chose Cruz as the likely winner of next Tuesdays Wisconsin presidential primary.
Among Democrats, Caucus members by a nearly two-to-one margin predicted Bernie Sanders would defeat Hillary Clinton.
In the Republican race, insiders said Cruz has surged ahead of Trump in Wisconsin thanks to GOP Gov. Scott Walkers endorsement and an electorate that isnt as favorable to Trump as those in other states.
Governor Walker's endorsement will help Cruz, said one Wisconsin Republican, who, like all respondents, completed the survey this week anonymously. And Trump's bit just does not play with the southeast Wisconsin GOP base.
The drumbeat of doubts about Trump is finally catching up to him, and Ted Cruz will be the beneficiary, added an Iowa Republican. Plus, Cruz is working the grassroots hard, knowing those campaign volunteers will turn into Cleveland delegates.[continued]

Maybe he’s like the Donald who claims to only sleep a couple of hours every night. Since the Donald is the best and smartest at everything that must be the way to go.
> according to a panel of activists, strategists and operatives
Hahahha. Yeah. Ok.
Would you all like it if I referred to your candidate as t.Rump like I’ve seen others here do?
Wisc is not a winner take all state is it? IOW no big numerical gain for the cruiser.
What about the drumbeats of doubt about Ted Cruz?
It’s like usafa92 sez, we figure your last post from sleep deprivation will look like thi3#S)(^FCLJD$#2172DV...
Ted is our Bernie, so that makes sense
I got a call today from the village clerk asking where my mother’s absentee ballot was. I loved the fact that by new state laws she was required to track each absentee ballot. I explained that I helped my mother fill out her ballot (she’s 95) and stuck it in the mail the same day...a couple of weeks ago at least. I will make sure her vote gets counted and I will vote on Tuesday...the same way Mom did. :{) I’m a big Cruz supporter but I don’t want to start any fights.
Same.
We shall cross that bridge when we come to it if we ever do. I’m not sure I believe all this stuff anyway. I think you guys just like getting your pantys in a wad.
I think you made it to the first comment before the Trumpites jumped in with:
A. It’s all push polls
B. Soros-funded fraud
C. Trump voters sysematically under-polled
D. The GOPe lying anti-Trump ads are bamboozling the electorate
E. It’s all wrong, Trump is really way ahead
F. Wait until New York
Here’s what you WON’T hear them say: The voters have had months to assess Trump, and most voters have done so and have found him wanting.
And Don Trump is our Hillary Clinton then, I assume?
It’s Donald Trump.
Are these the same insiders who said Trump would drop out last August? Then October, then said he will never win a state, then said after Nevada it was all over for him and Cruz was going to sweep the south? Didn’t Cruz get a very distant 3rd place in Florida?
Uh Huh. They are gonna do it and you will be left out in the cold.
“So what do you intend to do then?”
Cry to Levin and Beck.
Personally I will laugh my rear off.
I think you got it... Unless it’s the mailman’s son.
