My candidate has a consistent record that I largely applaud and agree with. Despite the recent character assassination campaign against him, I still, based on his record and based on what I've seen of him for years, think he's a good man who is committed to Constitutional principles. Our Constitution served us well until we started deviating from it.
I am not comfortable with a pig in the poke just for the sake of shaking things up. Trump has, frankly, said a lot of leftist things, supported a lot of leftist causes, and even in the midst of this campaign, even within the last week, has had to backpedal something he's said or done because he's not a conservative in his heart and doesn't know what conservatism is in his head. It's only after he's stepped in it that his handlers fill him in on what his desired voting group really thinks and wants to hear him say.
Change for change sake seldom works out well.
Thumbing your nose at political correctness is refreshing, but isn't indicative of presidential material.
Mob mentality is not a way to pick a president.
Apples and oranges. Teds been in politics all his life. It’s like saying Trd has never created a job for anyone. Ted can’t win he doesn’t have the personality, he’d make a fine judge however.
A “good” man doesn’t lie, cheat and steal. I don’t know whether he cheated on his wife or not, but, his lying is consistent. Is this what being a consistent conservative entails? If so, then count me out. He is a fraud, phony and fake. It’s too bad that you are so blinded and deceived by Ted Cruz. I wish I could feel sympathy for you, but I don’t. You walk in lockstep regardless of the lies he tells and the way he steals votes from other candidates. That says as much about you as it does him.
First, I am fine with whomever you choose to be President.
Next, Trump is not a politician, never claimed to be, and is conservative in his judgements, but never claimed to be a full on conservative.
One of the biggest arguments of critics who oppose Donald Trump is that hes not a true conservative.
The GOP front-runner told Sean Hannity today why that isnt true.
I dont like labels necessarily, because a label doesnt mean very much, he said. But when it comes to being conservative, I happen to be conservative.
In a wide-ranging interview on Hannity, Trump explained how his positions on energy, the military and trade are characteristically conservative.

IMO only the GOPe think they are Conservative, or their pick for President, they can’t control Trump, so they want Cruz.
War came to Chicago and Cruz joined the enemy. He is an utter fraud.
