There will be a ton of "I don't recalls" and with the same lawyer sitting with each, he/she will steer them clear of inconsistencies.

Nope. They will use a proven strategy that works to avoid taking the 5th.

Worked for Eric Holder recently and protected Hillary from 3 special prosecutors in the 90s.
These folks are very smart about legal defenses and can quibble over the meaning of “is” without shame.
