The decisions will be made by the delegates. That is why who they support outside of being bound is important. If the delegates are for Trump or Cruz, then no one else gets the nomination. The GOPe can only try to convince the delegates how to vote, they can’t vote for them. Trump should be doing this too.

The GOPe can only try to convince the delegates how to vote, they cant vote for them. Trump should be doing this too. Delegates are appointed in one of two ways. Either the candidate supplies the delegates, or the delegates are appointed by the party bosses. If the latter, the delegates will either vote the way the party bosses tell them to vote in the second round, or their party careers are over.
