Townhall reporter Guy Benson today admitted the Cruz campaign is stealing Trump delegates in states that Trump won.
The Ted Cruz campaign is running Cruz supporters as Trump delegates in states that Trump won. That way they can steal the nomination from Trump in Cleveland although they’ve only won a fraction of the states Trump has won.
Guy Benson: This has been percolating for several months. He has a very sharp legal team that know the rules inside and out in a way the Trump campaign clearly does not. It’s not just Louisiana. And it’s not just finagling to just get Rubio delegates or unbound delegates. What they’re also doing is getting people elected as Trump delegates who are not, in fact, Trump loyalists. So they would be bound to Donald Trump on the first ballot only. After which, although they are technically Trump delegates, they’ve been sort of put in place to jump.
And these are the same people who call Trump supporters ‘morons’ one day and beg them to support Ted Cruz the next.
CONFIRMED: Cruz Camp Stealing Trump Delegates at State Level
No one need stay home; Trump is fading.
I’m sure I will. If I am wrong, I will admit it.
Will Trump fans say the same if he suffers a horrible defeat?
He questioned numerous other Trumpies and that was the general consensus!!!
Perhaps I didn’t word that the best. I don’t mean keep up with me or my posts, that’s for sure.
Nonetheless, my point remains. Outside of the fervent Cruz supporters, he has nothing left to draw upon, no popularity to speak of, no enthusiasm, and no cross over.
And you base that on what????
By the same token, 70% of the voters will breath a sigh of relief when Cruz is shown the door.
Them’s the numbers, Pal. and numbers, as you well know, don’t lie!
CA....
Who is excited to vote for Cruz, outside of his fervent supporters? Very few. Polls are not needed to see that reality.
Who is going to cross over from the dems to vote for Cruz? Nobody to very, very few. That is obvious.
I'm not claiming anything about Mr. Trump having the best chance to win the general election is coming from polls.
I'm getting my “belief” from observations of other venues, and my favorite one is talking to people who normally vote for dems. Their observations and in many cases enthusiasm for Mr. Trump are what lead me to believe he has the best shot at winning the general election.
Also looking at the actual results from the primaries and the number of voters for all involved are pointing to Mr. Trump as being the eventual winner in November.
There are other things that I have previously discussed, but I don't have time to go into everything and I need to get back to work.
Where do you get that number???
Look away from polls and you see a better picture of what the feelings of voters really are, IMO.
In other words that’s his opinion after talking to democrats and other Trump supporters. Which in a lot of instances are the same people!!!
“It’s like 1964 all over again, only worse this time.”
Thank you for the historical perspective, I was not aware of that...
I am not optimistic, but am unwavering in my support for Donald Trump...and if they succeed in stealing the election from him/us then I intend to still vote Trump this fall, but also to remove myself from contributing to this economy...watching this monster die a rotting death.
Well at least you finally admitted it’s your opinion. I’m shocked ..A Trump supporter who thinks Trump is the best candidate. Of course you have to ignore all the polls that disagree!!!
A minor correction to your post #422, which was quite good:
According to RCP, Cruz trails by over 2,000,000 votes!
CA....
You can continue with your zealotry to your heats content.
To actually believe that Cruz can win the election is simply being dishonest with yourself.
You don’t need my opinion to see the truth in what I’m saying. You need look no further than his numbers in the swing states and southern states. These are areas he would have to win. Going by the numbers he pulled in during actual voting, there is no possible way he can win the general election.
To state otherwise is, again, being dishonest with yourself.
Do you think that Cruz can win a national election with these tactics?
RCP.
Just do a little basic math.

If nobody comes into the convention with 1237 then, since the dawn of US presidential elections, it’s in the delegates hands and the rules of the convention.
If you respect our Republic you must respect that process.
You display your zealotry and single mindedness with no reservations.
More power to you.
