Trump supporters are busy working.
So plan and take your next vacation there.
Your children’s future depend on it.
I clicked the link and it turns out Stone said this yesterday, so it was before Trump and the vipers at the RNC had a meeting. I am ate up with curiosity to know what was said at the meeting.
Here is the deal.
If Trump walks into that Convention with 1237 delegates, and does not get the nomination on the first Ballot, I will be right next to you on the barricades.
If Trump walks into that Convention with something less than 1237 delegates, and does not get the nomination, I will accept this as long as the process follows recognized rules.
A plurality of delegates that falls short of 1237 is not worth a bucket of warm spit.
At that point, it comes down to the convention picking the candidate they want. This process is ugly and divisive, and will probably not pick Donald Trump, even if he is just one delegate shy of 1237.
That is the way the system works. Those are the rules everybody agreed to when they signed onto this thing. It is a little late to start whining about it now.
Even if you can’t be there in person, you can still put the elite panjandrums on notice that if they steal the nomination YOU WILL NOT VOTE IN NOVEMBER. That’s the one message that will scare them enough to get their attention.
I’d guess Roger Stone is on someone’s payroll as an agent provocateur. No better way to discredit Trump than for his followers to engage in threats and actual violence. No one should dance to Stone’s tune.
Corrected.
Cruz is more desperate than any gambler in Reno.
He’s gambling on convention rules not yet written and trying to infiltrate Trump delegates with trojan horses.
That’s not the way to unify. It’s not leadership. And it exposes a ‘deal breaker’ character flaw IMHO.
So Trump supporters might need to double down on him for the good of the country.
