and, there is always this source, but I would hate to think they are correct! They have it at 37.5% back in Dec 2014.

https://www.rt.com/business/us-unemployment-economy-crisis-assistance-006/

When you do a search, you find all sorts of different conclusions as to what the actual percentage of people who want a full time job actually are.

One thing I have read is that all the “new” employment is in part-time service jobs.

It is hard to count all the small businesses who have gone under, and the self employed who have lost their businesses. These are not eligible for unemployment, and therefor never get counted in any of the statistical models.

Another way to look at it is to check out the rising number of people on food stamps/ebt cards, rising medicaid numbers, and the disability numbers, then compare these to the government employment stats. See if you think they make sense.

The overall population of the USA is what? Somewhere over 300 million? How may people would have to be employed, full time, if we accept that government number?

Why is Trump attacking another solid conservative?

He seems to take it very personally when someone does not prefer him over an opponent.

Does Trump think his donations ought to guarantee a Walker endorsement?

If Trump could have just stayed on message, he would have wrapped up this nomination.

The way Trump and Cruz have been running their campaigns is a disaster.

Trump and Cruz started their campaigns very friendly toward each other. If either one had kept it that way, the one who refused to mudsling would have won.

Now we have to go into a general election after a despicable blood bath. And both of these guys look desperate to score political points. It is not helping the cause of conservatism or help the nation.

I don’t know. People question how conservative Walker is.

Is Scott Walker conservative enough for the national tea party?

If Walker isn’t conservative, who is?

We are never going to find perfect candidates. At some point you have to support the best you have.

Trump donated $250,000 to the Republican Governors Association last year and another $100,000 in 2012. He maxed out to Walker’s reelection campaign last year with a $10,000 check. During the 2012 recall campaign, Walker visited with Trump in New York City, and the millionaire a few days later gave $15,000 to the Wisconsin Club for Growth, an outside group that helped defeat the recall.

Trump praised Walker for taking on public employee unions in Wisconsin. “I think he’s going to be a very interesting candidate,” he said. “I believed what he was doing was the right thing.”

Speaking on the phone Thursday before he flew to Florida for the weekend, Trump reiterated his criticisms of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, including the former Florida governor’s support for Common Core and his comment last year that people who enter the United States do so as an “act of love.”

My very large extended family in the Appleton area, detest Walker with a white hot passion. His popularity at present is around 40% last I read.

Donald Trump's tweet of Heidi was in response to someone using a picture of his wife to support Cruz. As far as I can tell, noone has sent out a picture of Melania Trump to support Walker.

Using your "logic" If I, as a Cruz supporter, posted a picture of Melania Trump, then Trump is justified in publishing an unflattering picture of Walker's wife, Tonette?

As I said, picking fights with people unnecessarily.

I'll be clearer this time. A major political organization started an ad campaign using a picture of Trump's wife to attack Trump and support Cruz. Responding by attacking Cruz's wife is within the bounds of a reasonable response. That said, Heidi appears to be a public part of Cruz's campaign and has made statements that lead me to believe she is running to be co-president. On those grounds, attacking Heidi is legitimate. As far as I can tell, Melania does not appear to be running for anything.

If you as a private citizen were to post a picture of Melania to support Cruz, it would be unreasonable for Trump to respond by attacking Tonette. I agree.
