I have seen pictures of Trump as George Washington. But I have also seen Scripture invoked on behalf of Ted Cruz. We are talking about questions of degree on both sides which are difficult to prove especially when subjective judgments are involved.
But I think it is true that the hero worship is predominately on the Trump side.
