Actually, his "no they shouldn't be punished" is his latest iteration. He was asked the question earlier and did what he does best, deflects. If women should not be punished, why didn't he say so then, when instead he answered like this:
Sen. Ted Cruz was more deft in his handling of a question about abortion criminalization than Donald Trump.
Trump once again hijacked the news cycle with some incendiary remarks Wednesday, telling MSNBCs Chris Matthews that there should be some punishment for women who get an abortion.
