The guy that sprayed her was looking to get involved. Another angle shows him working his way closer to the fray. He and his lawyer are going to have a hard time defending his actions on this one.

Nope. He used enough force to prevent her from seriously injuring an elderly man. That diffused the violence of the rioters.
