Some guy sprays another person in the crowd with pepper spray. Does it really matter what gender or age they are?

I didn’t want to sterotype based on looks, but the sprayer didn’t strike me as being a “Trump type.”

Hardly. She reached out and smacked him, which as we all know is battery. He responded in self-defense.
That's the clearest I saw of the mace. Looks like nasty stuff. That may not go over with a judge. Her glasses protected her eyes as it was very close.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have done it. But he sure as hell shouldn't have touched her or hit back which he didn't.
I don't know how a judge will see it. Chickenshit harpy starts a fight and gets shut up, runs to file a law suit. Chickenshit cops asking for help make it sound like the guy's guilty. Chickenshit judge, maybe they'll get one that is fair. Young lady, what were you doing at a rally that you know was likely to get violent because Trump incites violence? Then you start yelling and cussing. Mr. Mace, guilty, $5,000 fine, restitution to victim, 30 days in jail. Guy doesn't have the money to appeal. Case closed.
The big question is, who would want to touch that?
As a meter reader back in 1992, We had orange “mace”. It was called pepper spray.
He wasn’t. And when we were in line for our local rally......I told my kid to watch for the ones I profiled. And, shooooo nuff......they were the ones kicked out after wreaking havoc.
I got it a little wrong. Was looking for the guy. He will be easy to identify as the person behind the camera got a clear shot of him, unlike the surveillance cam on the Brussels bomber.
ya cant swing at the crowd first and expect to be innocent, the young man will probably say that the punch was coming for him...
The hipster looking dude looked like he might have been with her. He and the girl with the long dark hair kept putting their hand on her as if to hold her back.
That video seems to be documenting his approach. Why would he have pepper spray in his hand already since there hadn’t been any serious shoving or calls for violence from the crowd? Add to that the turd-eating grin on his face before, during and after spraying her and I’d agree this was a setup.
Good money says he’s a Bernie Boy.

That was my thought, too. Trump hat or no Trump hat - that guy looks like a smarmy leftist.
He doesn’t appear to be ‘with anyone’.
Or they could measure the velocity of the spray and analyze it chemically to determine if any of it was excess. And that orange dye. Pretty bad stuff.
What's a guy to do?
Nope, never seems to be with anyone before or after he sprays her. He works his way up and leans in trying to say something to her but old sweater guy has his hand up unknowingly blocking his face. Red cap hipster has to try again then she throws a punch at him and he’s on that spray in an instant.
That angle also seems to vindicate sweater guy of touching her. Another indication that it was a setup.
