I (completely) disagree with you on that statement.
Trump is far and away, the strongest Republican to run since Reagan.
He is lightyears ahead of everyone else.
And he is very, very wealthy. That means a lot of things.
It means he’s not for sale. It also means, he has very, very, very deep pockets.
And he’s also, not at all afraid to stand up and push back.
It has been an entire generation, since any Republican or anyone anywhere has had that skill, and that bravery.
Trump is the ideal candidate.

No, Reagan was a small government conservative. Trump is a big government, authoritarian liberal without even a basic understanding of the constitution. He could not be less Reaganesque if he tried. Reagan persuaded voters with conservatism. Trump constantly parrots left-wing talking points and attacks fellow Republicans from the left. Reagan stood for something. Trump days whatever he thinks might get him the votes he needs in the given moment.
