Okay your post is exactly why I as a Trump supporter don’t see this truce working. Trump has on the record, in debates, during rallies, factually said that he can work with the other side. This does not mean that he will roll over and let them walk all over him. This does not mean he is a liberal dem. And ya know your Republican party has called for broadening the tent, which Trump is doing. He is bringing in union members, African Americans, Reagan democrats.
Ive gone out of my way to discuss topics with Cruz supporters. I don’t use childish names, but I and others have repeatedly been insulted,called cultists, And every derivative of Trump’s name imaginable. The worst was Trumpanzie. I agree that a truce and uniting together is for the best. The thing is the Cruz side has engendered a lot of hard feelings.

One of the challenges with a *truce* is, a lot of people take it personally when their candidate of choice is insulted.
