Donald Trump says he is considering legal action in response to a recent battery charge against campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
"Frankly, this is not a claim that should have been made," Trump told ABC News' David Muir on "Good Morning America" this morning.
Lewandowski was arrested on Tuesday morning for allegedly grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields following a Trump event earlier this month. Trump dismissed the incident as "very minor," saying that "practically nothing happened."
"I'm sure there will be a counter-claim coming down the line," Trump added. "Should I file charges against her because she touched my arm as well?"

Why? The guy grabbed her. I’ve posted many times that its a silly thing to get upset about. It probably happens at almost every one of these events.
He grabbed this woman. The video provided by the Trump campaign proves it. That is all that is required to meet the legal standard for battery. They could have apologized and defused the situation. They decided to lie about it and got her fired.
Maybe the judge will throw out the charge, maybe not. Regardless its being handled extremely poorly by the Trump campaign.
This 29 yr old reporter with an apparently sketchy history has done severe damage to the Trump campaign. She was helped to do this by, the Trump campaign.

She filed a complaint and the officer found she had probably cause. Hence the misdemeanor charge of battery.

Trumps campaign manager grabbed this woman and pulled her away from the candidate. No rational person is going to agree she was a threat to Trump. Especially with a secret service agent standing beside her.
But enough about Trump. You have NO evidence about Cruz whatsoever. And your other assertions are so far off the rails they're not worth addressing.
