Look, I'm all in for Trump, but you've got to read the stupid Florida law.

For Simple Battery, all that is needed is an unwanted touch and intent. That's it. Period.

If Corey reached out and touched her, and she said she didn't want to be touched then it's 'simple battery' under the letter of Florida law.

Is it ridiculous? You bet! But we've got to knock off this "bogus charge" and "filing a false police report" nonsense.

There are valid defenses to Corey's actions, but I'm not sure there's anyone that can argue that he didn't reach out and touch her, and she says she didn't want to be touched.

For a drama queen, this is a valid post you just made.

It is also valid, and indisputable to point out that she touched Trump, so what's happens next?

There is full, unedited audio, recorded by the reporterette victim herself, laughing at the result of the scripted incident.

So give it a rest.

She reached out and touched Trump and he didn’t want to be touched. Should Trump charge Fields with ‘simple battery’?? How far into crazy legal land do we want to go?? Fields alleged bruise injury didn’t happen during the incident and that was part of her accusation. An exaggerated claim for an exaggerated incident? It is fairly obvious this incident is using the law for political opportunism.

Then how does anyone act as a private bodyguard for anyone if the bodyguard can’t touch them, when obviously they don’t want to be touched?

Is there an exemption for police or SS to push someone back?

Can’t Corey say he was just protecting Trump?
