The states do better when left alone. In regards to schools, I was referring to the massive decline in the federal government through the department of education. Common Core being the latest iteration of that. This country was far better educated when the states and school districts were left alone without the meddling of the Federal leviathan. Of course according to Trump this is one of the main purposes of the government.

When it comes to government the smaller and more local the better. This country was founded on, among other principles, federalism.

But if you think His Donaldness can fix things with the Yuge Federal leviathan, knock yourself out. After 6,000 years of failure maybe government will fix things this time.
