Although Carpenter enjoys gushing about Cruz on twitter, she could have been out with some other male co-worker at 3AM. And it was his jacket she was wearing in the bathroom. And it was him “she shared the piece of fancy cheese with that he will slices for both of us” at 3AM.
This is all her business, but this journalist has no sense of discretion. I can’t fathom why she needs to tweet her nighttime adventures publicly to everyone. Fancy’s herself a Kardasian? She is married with kids living in DC. Even if she has her own room at the hotel or makes it home by 4AM, it just sends a message of impropriety.
A funny part about all this is that a FReeper (3/27 or 3/28) shows a screen shot of a much older Cruz interview where Ted states that cheese is one of his most favorite foods!
Kind of like Ellen saying she likes anything that starts with p.
