CNN’s Amanda Carpenter has been the subject of nasty allegations that she had an affair with Ted Cruz, and during an emotional appearance with Jake Tapper today, she expressed her disgust with the “smears” being pushed by one Donald Trump advisor.

Such as? I found plenty of family photos on her Instagram site, but nothing at all that would even hint of her having an affair. So let's see this circumstantial evidence.

I have read through these threads. I see a ton of speculation, innuendo, hearsay, and rumor spreading. But I have yet to see any actual evidence that would point to Carpenter having an affair. If you have such evidence, then please post it now. But all this baseless slander is the kind of crap I expect over at DU.

FR is becoming DU lately- it’s absolutely shameful some of the crap being posted on Fr lately- dirty minds running wild over some slimy scandal rag rumor in the hopes of destroying people and families- Absolutely disgusting- the worst part? They always have an excuse for why they are justified in doing what they are doing-
When Sarah ran as VP- things got pretty bad here on FR- but it was tolerable- when Romney ran things got pretty ugly and shameful- but now that Ted is running- this site has really sunk into the gutter with all the filthy vile innuendo speculation and outright despicable rumor mongering- The worst part? They don’t even care that htey are playing right into the hands of the left who are laughing their butts off over how vile and vicious the anti-cruz people have become over a freakin rumor!
Amanda was given a chance to praise Ted as moral and upstanding. She merely said she had no knowledge of him doing anything wrong. What happened to the gushing fangirl? She could have said I worked close with him and Heidi and he would never do that with anyone.
