I’ve seen some of those articles. Thanks. One need not be a professional profiler to determine Cruz is being evasive and deceptive. Otherwise he would have answered the simple 7 word question. And having Fiorina step in for him, like she was his mommy, was 100% over the top.

You probably already know this, but you’re pissing in the wind. There is literally nothing that Trump can say or do (or has said or done) that will change his supporters’ minds. They are a cult, and they will make excuses for him all the way to the bitter end.

The flip side of that is, as you pointed out, they are actively denying the reality of Cruz’s personal and political history in order to further their belief in their cult.

They had kids involved. I doubt it. Say what you want about Cruz ... he and his wife did not have children to use as props. I think there was love there ... and something happened.

I think Cruz let ambition get the best of him personally. Same could be said about his wife. That’s probably why his family appears (to me anyway) to be a mess. They both have some high power jobs.

Quite frankly, it wouldn’t shock me in the least if Ted’s rumored affairs were the result of some kind of open marriage agreement mainly due to a lack of repudiation of the affair rumor and all of the strange responses surrounding it.

It’s not my intent to fuel the rumor mill, but something is certainly up in that family. However, I don’t think this was some kind of arranged marriage by a bank.

Now that I’ve seen a lot more video of Cruz, I see now why so many people find him loathsome. Greasy, insincere, pedantic, rehearsed, weak. Well, he did call the article “complete trash and utter lies” so I’d say that’s a denial.

No, I'd say those are lawyerly weasel words. A lot of people consider everything in any gossip tabloid to be "trash"--so that claim means nothing (or anything). "Lies" is a bit stronger, but could refer to anything written in the article, such as the number of women, the specific women who were pictured, or any detail. He didn't say straight up that they lied about him having affairs. He could have clearly and unequivocally said, "I have not cheated on my wife," but he chose not to do so.
