To support Donald Trump because he voices some libertarian views is to substitute wishful thinking for clear thinking. The odds are that Donald Trump could not even define libertarianism; his conception of foreign policy is inconsistent, incoherent, and ignorant.

John McCain was and is partnered with Obama in supporting ISIS financially and militarily...Trump will pick qualified advisors and none of them will be McCain, or Obama...

You think little George Bush knew anything about foreign policy or war??? Or Romney??? And what does Cruz know except what he's learned from military briefings???

The thesis of the article was that libertarians should support Donald Trump because he expresses libertarian ideology. I attacked both the ideology and Donald Trump's misapprehension of that ideology.

You defend Donald Trump by resorting to relativism: other presidents are as bad or worse.

I don't know how you can get worse than a man who lies about his opposition to the Iraq war, claims that he can provide twenty-five articles proving his opposition prior to that war, fails to do so, and the only public utterance prior to the war that we know of makes Donald Trump a liar. To top it off he indulges in projection, accusing George Bush of the lies on the very subject that Donald Trump himself has committed.

Not only is Donald Trump's foreign policy inconsistent, incoherent, and ignorant but he is an opportunistic liar.
