Sorry, but GOPe's objective is and always has been to take out the early leader (Trump, in this case), then any second rank candidates still left and trot out the Designated Loser (Jeb!, Ryan....etc.) so the November charade can finally get finished and they can all get back to sucking up whatever's left of the Country Formally Known as The United States of America.
If you think Cruz is going to last as a Presidential...or anything else...candidate more than milliseconds after/if they manage to show Trump the door, you're delusional.
