3, yes, it would seem he would make that statement, and maybe he is working on it.

But your 1 and 2... well, why? In all of this I don’t see any woman accusing Ted Cruz or rape or harassment. So IF any of them did have a liaison with Cruz, they did so freely as an adult.

If no laws have been broken (and that I’m unsure of from all this recent fuss, but if), then these attacks on Cruz are over the top. If any or all of these people are married, it is their problem, their business.

I don’t go for this obsession with following people’s sex lives, it’s distasteful, unnecessary and everyone seems to be sleeping everyone else anyway. That is not for us to judge, keep it to their professional lives.

Just my 2 cents, and probably I am misunderstanding, as this possibly fabricated scandal is confusing to me.

Tell that to the Cruz PAC supporters.

Tell that to Cruz, who could not bring himself to even counsel against all PACs who would use candidate wives and family members as off limits, against any candidate. But, not a word of regret, empathy or counsel.

Instead, Tedlit makes the very point of the attack ad.

He says, “Melania is lovely.” (after staring at the photo, no doubt.) “My wife Heidi is the love of my life”. (first lady material, no doubt.)

He practically repeats the verbage of the ad.

For someone like Ted Cruz who purports to be devoutly religious, multiple affairs is not only an example of poor character and judgement, but also rank hypocrisy.

Also, as we know, such secrets tend to make one a greater security risk, for obvious reasons.

Such stories can be legitimately investigated without necessarily being "obsessive".

Everybody has been attacking Donald Trump for his supposed character flaws, including past affairs he has admitted to.

Now suddenly examining character isn't fair when it comes to Ted Cruz?

Look, this story, once the available evidence emerges (incriminating or exculpatory) will either end Cruz's Presidential run, or disappear in a puff of unfounded smears.

Everyone, instead of speculating too heavily in the absence of facts, will just have to be patient for a few days as this story plays out.

I'm trying to keep an open mind, so I'm not going to launch irresponsible accusations at anyone involved with this story as yet, whether it be Cruz, Trump, the NE, the women, or whoever...
