I don’t think any of it does. The only reason that Trump is even talked about in this is because instead of addressing the accusations like a man, Cruz blamed Trump for everything. I do not think Trump had anything to do with this beyond being blamed for it by Cruz. We’ll just have to see how it all plays out.

Yes, some Trump supporters can be nasty & go over the top but so can CRUZ supporters. But you don’t have the honesty or integrity to admit it. You vomit childish, juvenile insults continually but you cry when someone fights back.
I can’t tolerate hypocrites & some (notice I say some, not all) of Cruz’ most obnoxious supporters are the biggest hypocrites walking the planet. You proclaim how “perfect” & “ holier than thou” you are & that anyone who doesn’t worship Cruz is going to Hell. Then, in the next breath, you hurl vile, sometimes vulgar insults. Christian?
