He showed he was not afraid and refused to back down when ESPN, Macy's, Amazon and others were putting pressure on him.
He was first to bring up the immigration/illegal alien problem. Without him, there would not be a discussion of this topic. He also pointed out the danger of admitting Syrians, something other politicians were afraid to mention until he did.
He has created jobs.
He speaks like a normal person, not stilted and fake like Hillary.
There are many other reasons.
The way Trump talks at his rallies is what first got me interested in him. The stilted, ponderous, nasal voice of Cruz is what alerted me he’s a phony.
