Uh no. Satan lost. Wow you are theologically obtuse.
May I suggest that what’s important to note is how to bring this to bear, or how not to.
Relying on secular governments to do anything, isn’t such a way.
A lot of folks are incredulous that Christ needs no crutch, but it’s true. The events of this modern day may be God’s way of forcing the church, which had been riding in the chariot of “Caesar,” to pull on its gospel boots and get on its feet and walk. We can’t say rah rah Christian America — that is getting less and less plausible by the day. We can say rah rah Jesus Christ. And having given up the idea of civic salvation, watch soul salvations play out.
Souls still lost are lost because they refuse to accept salvation. Not because God refused to reach to them.
I agree completely with this. Government cannot save us, only Christ can. Many people seem to turn to government instead of God. Just as Obama was no Messiah neither is Trump. The United States will not get it’s act back together until its people return to God and His Son. One soul at a time.
Trump, at best, would be an example of a wise secular official. He can keep human barbarians out of the USA, or at least try to. To keep demons out of our soul needs a different ruler.
If the regime can do this, then they can do SELECTIVE abortions.
"We don't need any more cracka babies with white privilege."
If there is anyone not in need of contraception, it is nuns.
One Size Fits All Big Gubamint.. or What?
Them Founding Fathers sure had their stuff together..
What happened to the leaders of today?
Obviously, they operate on a different frequency.
Well and truly stated.
Yes!!
Do you disagree with my statement?
“There continue to be souls lost to Satan every day.”
Or, are YOU theologically obtuse?
His goal: eliminate Christianity and promote towelheadism.
It’s simple. Really...NOPE.
And sometimes events prove to be object lesson.
If I were a preacher with the audience of a Franklin Graham (which currently I’m not, but I am sure the Lord knows best in making this the case) I’d say we have a good object lesson here. Donald Trump says he wants to stop illegal Mexicans. We know Jesus Christ wants to stop demons. Vote for whoever you believe best on a secular level, but don’t fail to vote for Jesus for your soul.
Ah, the towels aren’t the problem.
This is only going to happen in a place where the people respect religious faith in the first place.
I have found an odd thing: as I have become more invested in Christian faith I find myself more tolerant, not less, to most non-Christian faith followings. I know that Jesus is the Name Above All Names and that He is the boss and He is telling me to live in peace with all men inasmuch as it depends on me. Getting all fretful and frantic over others’ dissents in belief is worldly, not godly.
Also, I’ve found quite often that some tenets of non-Christian faiths serve as good object lessons to introduce Christian ideas. This is perfectly consistent with the fact that the devil can’t create any new virtue. However those faiths only go so far, and then the Christian story gets a chance to start speaking.
This way, I can present the gospel as a more optimistic way of life than the beliefs that my audience had been embracing. I strive to make the gospel attractive.
Yup... kind of “hail to the chiefs, and they are us”
You can force people at gun point, but is it the right thing to do? They don’t know what the right thing to do is, though. They think overrunning the country with millions of illegal immigrants without our permission is the “right thing to do”.
