Agreed. Heidi Cruz has actively campaigned for Ted Cruz. She actively fund raises. When asked about Ted’s campaign, it’s alway “we”, such as “We” decided to run for president.
She has a long history as a globalist. You could argue that Ted is hiding behind her. Using her as a proxy. If that were the case, why wouldn’t she be fair game?
