this story may be a bit dated. GQ apparently confirms Cruz campaign bought the photo?

which makes one wonder if Cruz really did have something to do with the Rubio "dropped from race" /Hawaii PAC scandal?

Where is your source for this information that has you "wondering if...?"

This is a rumor put out by someone on FR unaffiliated with the any campaign and blasted over Twitter: https://twitter.com/Campaign_Trump/status/713142215078334464/photo/1

That appears to be the primary source of this “news” that keeps getting repeated endlessly around FR as if it’s true. As far as I can tell, there isn’t anyone at GQ even named “Ben Shales.”
